Who am I?
About me
My name is Lizzie and I am a registered counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and able to offer therapy based on your needs. I work with adults, young people and couples and have experience of working with neurodiversity and LGBTQ+, I am also a Hampshire and Isle of Wight Autism Ambassador. Regardless of what you are looking for in your talk therapy, send me a message and arrange a free 20 minute session where we can explore your needs and what you would like from your counselling.
My background is working in mainstream schools with children who are neurodivergent. I understand how having a learning difficulty, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) or ADHD can make it a struggle to fit in with the structure of school. These struggles can often make the individual highly anxious and struggle to remain regulated throughout the day. I also have an understanding of the difficulties and frustrations felt by parents and other family members. I am able to offer a warm, calm and inviting space to provide counselling to all.

My focus is to help you heal, energise, and become aware of your inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns. As your counsellor, I am able to support you regardless of where you live in the UK.

Knowing how difficult it can be to open up or to even find the words sometimes to express how you are feeling, I have a number of techniques to support you in getting the most from your counselling. Have a look at the training page for a selection of courses I have attended.
Counselling
I am happy to discuss your needs during your free 20 minute consultation where we can see if we are a good fit and if you would like to proceed with counselling. All you need to do is message me to get started.
If you decide you would like to proceed with counselling:
Individual counselling sessions are £50 for 50 minutes.
Couples counselling is £60 for 50 minute sessions, or £90 for a double session lasting 1hr 40 mins.
Emotional Literacy sessions are £40 for 50 minute sessions.
Payment is required by bank transfer within 48 hours of booking. I am able to offer a 10% discount for a block payment of 5 sessions.
My hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm
Sessions are only confirmed once payment is received.
Trainee counsellors
