Who am I?
About me
My name is Lizzie (PNLP DipCAH HPD ) and I am a registered counsellor and hypnotherapist. I'm a Registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (MNCH Reg). I am able to offer therapy based on your needs. I work with adults, young people (14 years and up) and couples and have experience of working with neurodiversity and LGBTQ+, I am also a Hampshire and Isle of Wight Autism Ambassador. Regardless of what you are looking for in your therapy, send me a message and arrange a free 20 minute session where we can explore your needs and what you would like from your therapy.
My background is working in mainstream schools with children who are neurodivergent or those that have emotional and behavioural difficulties. I understand how having a learning difficulty, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) or ADHD can make it a struggle to fit in with the structure of school. These struggles can often make the individual highly anxious and struggle to remain regulated throughout the day. I also have an understanding of the difficulties and frustrations felt by parents and other family members. I am able to offer a warm, calm and inviting space to provide counselling to all.

Therapy
I am happy to discuss your needs during your free 20 minute consultation where we can see if we are a good fit and if you would like to proceed with counselling, hypnotherapy or perhaps a combination of both.

If you decide you would like to proceed:
Individual counselling sessions are £60 for 50 minutes.
Couples counselling is £70 for 50 minute sessions.
Hypnotherapy sessions are £60* for 50 minutes
(first session is an assessment session to inform treatment plan)

Emotional Literacy sessions are £60 for 50 minute sessions.
Payment is required by bank transfer within 48 hours of booking. I am able to offer a 10% discount for a block payment of 5 sessions.
My hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm
Sessions are only confirmed once payment is received.
Parental support
Over the last few years of being in private practice, I have been approached by many parents who have wanted additional support in helping them to understand their child. For this reason, I have now decided to offer this as a specific service. These sessions can take place outside of my normal working hours. Please click on the tab at the top to find out more.
